Wifi
I have sky full fibre broadband 900mb , I've checked broadband with my sky App and everything is good with 705mb going to router .but when I do a wifi speed test standing next to router I get a download speed of 50mb and upload speed of 90mb , I've also ran ethernet from router to sky puck and did speed test through netflix and I'm only getting 87mb .

Re: Wifi
@Petehammers66 what app are you using to measure speeds? The ethernet speed should be the full speed but confusingly some apps like Steam quote speeds in MB/s ie Megabytes not Megabits there are 8 bits in a byte so 87MB/s = 700Mb/s which is around what should be expected. Another possible explanation is you are not using a direct gigabit capable ethernet connection (no switches, powerline adapters etc) while I would expect a reading nearer 90Mb/s over a "Fast Ethernet" connection limited to 100Mb/s your reading is in the right area.It would be extremly unusual for speeds on a 900Mb/s to be really below 100Mb/s.
WiFi speeds do vary but you should see speeds around 700Mb/s if a few feet from the router with no obstructions between the device and the hub add in a wall and inevitably speeds drop. You can be too close as the esign of the aerials can give low signal spots if too close but 3 feet should be fine.
If you can derinitely rule out measuring issues you msy indeed have an issue but it is going to difficult to get Sky to believe you without definitely rulling out issues. If you call them concentrate on the ethernet result as wifi speed is not a relable indicator

Re: Wifi
- I've tried quite a few broadband speed tests and all are similar. I test broadband speed every week and was getting 500Mb or higher. When I use My Sky App test the router is receiving 705Mb but it's like the router is capping the speed
