Is there a way to hide my network from "outsiders" (if they can't find it they can't hack it!) But still allow friends who visit access if needed (i have a WPS button on the router)
Thanks!

However you can stop your hub broadcasting its SSID so to log into the network people would have to know both the SSID and the psssword.
Its quite easy to do log onto hub by typing 192.168.0.1 in the address bar in a browser hit return, when the interface loads click on wifi and log in the username is always admin butvthe password is either sky for older hubs or the Wifi password printed on the label on the latest upright type..When the wifi page loads untick the box labelled allow broadcast of SSID or something similar and applybthe changes. If you have split the two wifi bands remember to do that on page for each band as you have 2 SSIDs

The biggest vulnerability for domestic broadband exploitation is the label on the back of the router which has the password printed on it ; )

I was thinking more of things like this one: exploitation of a previously undisclosed flaw in an app which had something like 1.5 billion users at the time, but the specific target just happened to be the richest man in the world (and the apparent vector wasn't exactly insignificant either ; )
Local WiFi was probably less of an issue: I suspect both JB and MBS had quite good home routers...
