If you are planning or moving to Virgin for your broadband or you no longer have the need for a broadband connection then you need to give Sky a call. If you are planning to move to any other broadband company then you just sign up with them as they will take over your line and tell Sky you have left. Make sure when doing this you are not in a contract with Sky.

@manokhanth Or if you are going with any other ISP which doesn't use the Openreach network: these are typically 'full fibre' providers such as Cityfibre / Hyperoptic / Community Fibre / Gigaclear etc, or if you intend to use cellular data (4G/5G).  None of these are currently part of the Ofcom 'one stop' switching scheme, and won't cancel your Sky Broadband service as part of their own activation processes.
