Wifi only working in limited areas of home
We moved to Sky earlier this month, with installation on 8th / 9th July.
The WiFi connection throughout the house is only good in the room the hub is located. It is proving impossible to get a connection at all in some of the downstairs rooms or upstairs.

Re: Wifi only working in limited areas of home
Sky loans wireless booster hardware free under the terms of the 'WiFi Guarantee' element of 'Broadband Boost' and the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' part of the 'WiFi Max' subscription supplement: they don't otherwise provide or sell them except to resolve issues with Sky Q. Inevitably some have leaked onto a certain auction site, but Sky won't offer support with using these.
Confusingly the 'Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' doesn't actually provide booster hardware, and is essentially a sales lead generator for the supplements mentioned above.

Ok. If there is another piece of kit that will enhance the WiFi coverage around the house, then I'd be happy to try that.

Re: Wifi only working in limited areas of home
Same issue in our house but mainly on apple phones and tablets. Laptops etc are generally fine. I added the max booster to my subscription a couple of months ago and its made very little difference
