Wifi not available in part of the house

We are new broadband customers, having only set up the connection this week. The wifi connectivity is good in the areas close to the router but our house is old, L shaped with thick stone walls and the wifi is unavailable in part to the house.

We were previously with BT and had a disc in the kitchen to combat this issue and I think sky will need to provide us with a booster to ensure all round connectivity

Which colour router did you get?

A bit like BT Halo, if you have the white Sky Max Hub you can also order the WiFi Max service that provides additional pods that are smaller versions of the BT discs and set up a mesh. It comes with an 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee'

More here: Sky WiFi Max

There is also something called Sky Broadband Boost, but that may well have been superseded by Sky WiFi Max in terms of usefulness.
