Wifi losing connection

WiFi not connecting to zome devices straight away and then loses connection.

As I turn ps4 on it never connects to wifi.

Alexa loses connection at times to it.

Sometimes lose connection to my mobile.

No obvious reason for this.

Been happening the last 6 months but more so recently

Thanks

@RB93 sounds like poor WiFi signal level in your home. WiFi signals lose power when passing through walls the dender the more you lose. If you have solid internal walls being more than 2 rooms from the hub can mean no usable signal. You will be aware of the layout and whether your house has solid internal walls if thst sounds like the cause then consider either buying Sky's Wifi Max add-on see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or your own whole home wifi kit. As more and more people are doing this inteference from your neighbours' networks tens to increase meaning a marginal network becomes unusable.

Re: Wifi losing connection

Thanks for replying to me!

I am in a flat, with hollow walls and not much distance between lounge and where router is. I have also been at the property for a few years and never had issues.

I have asked neighbours about boosters and they are both on sky with no booster and have no issues.

I did just think it may be because my partner has moved in recently, so we have quite a lot of devices to the WiFi now and I've only got the cheap super fast WiFi- could this be a contributing factor at all?

Thanks!
