Wifi keeps dropping

We switched to Sky a couple of weeks ago. The test picks up a 'poor' connection to the streaming puck but that works fine. The WiFi however is a different matter. It keeps dropping out. We received a Booster yesterday so hoping that will help at the back of the house. My phone was slow to load when sitting there this morning though. My wife is using Skype on a call literally 1m from the router and her connection keeps stalling or dropping out. Ideas? Kind Regards
