Wifi issues

Attached are router stats.  Best description of my problem is the wifi fluttering.  Can be fine for hours, then it stops, down seconds or a minute, and it's back.  Weird, never had this problem before beginning of say November- not absolutely sure when it started.  Also, I download books through Audible and I watch the download, normally it's just under 10 mb chunks, but I've just downloaded a book and it stalled 4 times.

also have had games I play stop due to lack of internet access, only moments but irritating.

Also a couple of mornings our 6am morning programme has not recorded and have ended up unplugging the Q box to get it started - this morning a message said we had no internet access.  Lost Alexa access, slow internet.  Just a catalogue of silly niggles.  I haven't rebooted the router for a couple of days.  Wifi access through the house is reasonable.  Difficult to cover it all.
Any help or ideas appreciated.

@Jillyb15Nothing up with the Wi-Fi that has the same uptime as the router. It is your connection that is dropping. Maybe the next time it also happens you can run the broadband test.

Can you please run the broadband test, this can be done either via the Sky app on mobile data or use the link below.

If it finds an external fault it should enable you to book an engineer.

If someone has helped give them Like.

Re: Wifi issues

@Highlinder

Looking at the broadband checker there appears to be an outage in my area.  Although I presume it must be intermittent as I have broadband access for the majority of the time.  Weird to say the least.

@Jillyb15Yes would say so. Keep an eye on your connection and if it does go down again check what the lights on the router are doing.

Re: Wifi issues

This is still ongoing.  Even when I lose access all lights are green on the router.  It is such an irritating little problem: downloads freeze, even stuff I would expect to be cached stops, e.g. moving in and out of the forum.

Service checker for broadband, says I have 80Mbps, however if I click on the second box (first box says everything looks good) I'm told there is an outage in my area and everything should be back up and running in a couple of days.  Well, as this has been going on for a few weeks now I guess it's not an easy repair.  Other than patience anyone any ideas.

@Highlinderthanks for your advice, wouldn't have drilled down without it.
