Wifi issues since upgrade

Since we had an upgrade we can't get Wi-Fi upstairs drops in & out all the time & cant do gaming as it's that slow tried buying a boost plug but not made a difference

Obtaining booster pods as suggested by @caesarome may be the way to go to get a better signal upstairs, and the cheapest option.

 

Another alternative would be to build your own Mesh wifi network by buying extra hardware. There are many Mesh system suppliers depending on your preference but this can cost £100 upwards depending on how many devices you need to cover your property fully. I have done this in our bungalow using Amazon Eeros and have had no problems whatsoever, even the patio outside is covered which is great in the summer. The bonus with this is that once purchased it will work with any broadband provider (I was with TalkTalk before I moved to Sky for a good deal), and also allows quick setup if you do change provider as you can keep the same wifi name/SSID and password (all existing devices still connect with no reconfiguring).
