Wifi dropping

Our wifi keeps cutting out. The test said the connection TO the hub is fine but then shows no devices connected... that's because the wifi is dropping so we can't get the broadband FROM the hub. I would like a new hub due to this issue but I can't speak to a person about it...

@Isabelh Why can't you speak to a person about it?

Re: Wifi dropping

@audray Then dial 150 on your landline phone or a sky mobile same number and speak to sky Customer Service!

Re: Wifi dropping

I've just been on to Sky? I've checked everything they say they've checked everything and the only thing to do is upgrade a full fibre because they would've just switched off the copper this morning. It's really strange because it was working until about 10 o'clock this morning all of a sudden the Wi-Fi just dropped and it won't go back on but they're telling me they can just cut it straight off without warning and the only way to solve it is to go to full fibre

Re: Wifi dropping

@audray Very strange answer, although that is a possibility there would be plenty warnings about the copper on the Exchange being shut off completly before now, even from sky to get it all done....

OR are in the middle of an Shutdown program 3 exchanges so far in the test cycle and not sure if all three are done so far at least ONE is gone now, but OR made sure ALL the customers were done and dusted and had Fibre installed up and working, some may have refused who knows what would happen in that but that's not for me to speculate that answer!

The sky link https://www.sky.com/broadband/full-fibre-broadband will tell you at least if Fibre is available to you at your home!
