Wifi below guaranteed speed

Have the wifi package with guaranteed speed of 400mb/s however have been remaining below 100mb/s for the last couple weeks since it was installed. Is there anyway someone can fix this or will we need to change provider?

@ZigGron Sky have never offered 400mb guaranteed via WiFi, the most they have offered is 25mbps and that's with an add on subscription to wifi max(no provider will ever guarantee WiFi anywhere near 400mbps).

As @daveNOS indicates, the Guaranteed Minimum Download Speed is as far as the Hub over optical fibre and ethernet cable, not WiFi from it.

Re: Wifi below guaranteed speed

Yes i know the Guaranteed Minimum Download Speed is as far as the Hub over optical fibre and ethernet cable, not WiFi from it. That is what I'm trying to say is currently reading at 100mb/s rather than the 400 it should be. When I try to test on the mySky app it says broadband and wifi are both fine. But if I scroll down it mentions that the speed is below their guarentee and I can exit the contract with no charge. I am just wondering if there is anything that can be done to fix it because I have tried all the trouble shooting the AI bot gives and nothing has worked. If there isn't anything sky can do does that mean that it will be the same speed with other providers?

FTTP should always be capable of delivering multi-gigabit speed.

If speed at the Hub isn't exceeding 100Mbs then the first thing to try is replacing the ethernet cable between it and the ONT for one which is known to be Cat5e or better.

It might also be worth resetting the Hub just in case the ethernet ports are somehow set to 100baseT rather than 1000baseT
