The WiFi in an upstairs bedroom is unusable. Despite my having an extender plugged in at the top of the stairs

@ColinC2 You need to look at the Extender lights, see what they are, and be sure that it is in a working condition, can reach the wireless wi-fi off the sky hub that you have, too far away and it is not going to work!
