WiFi not working
The WiFi box and booster are switched on and working but we are not able to get WiFi anywhere in the house. Occasionally our devices join for a few seconds then it goes again. We've reset the boxes multiple times and unplugged etc. wifi lasts for a few minutes then goes again.
The WiFi has never been great with the new white box and having to have a booster plugged in right next to it by the engineer when installed never filled me with much hope. The small plug in booster that we had upstairs has recently made the issue worse and has been overheating.

Are these Sky boosters you have as putting the downstairs one next to the main hub is just plain daft, more especially if done so by an "engineer". The wifi signals can actually block each other. They do run warm, as does the main hub (unless wifi is disabled in it).
Boosters should be halfway between a dead spot and the main hub. Unplug all 3 for 10 minutes (don't reset anything) and position the downstairs hub somewhere more suitable whilst you're waiting. Place the 2nd booster where it can pick up either the main hub or the 1st booster signal. Have a look at the link below to see if it helps with placement.
