WiFi not working

My WiFi has been down for weeks, I'm constantly running out of data on my phone because the WiFi won't connect, it won't connect on any devices and barely works on the sky glass. I spoke to sky who were useless, they told me to upgrade to fibre, the speed isn't the issue, it's worked fine for over a year and now just ceases to work and I'm incredibly frustrated that I'm paying for WiFi that doesn't work and paying for a tv I essentially can't use.

Can you run this test @LAF90 :

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.

Re: WiFi not working

@LAF90 The thoughts are all heading towards you Copper line is going BAD, that is what the stat's request was for but @caesarome run the diagnostic to test your line an hope it shows a fault, lets you carry on get an Engineer booked and they hopefully sort it out, when Fibre is up in the offering then copper is really getting thrown out the window.... Mexican standoff see who gives in first!

Re: WiFi not working

I've tried this but it tells me all my connections are fine but it's definitely not working, very strange.

Re: WiFi not working

I'm hoping I can get an engineer out but it makes sense that they are doing away with copper now.
