Re: WiFi not working

Diagnostics now say nothing is working but there are no issues in the area (bexley/Dartford) Can't run further checks as the system isn't working

Re: WiFi not working

I'm in Scotland and having the same issues I just got new fibre broadband put in last week did not expect it to not be working already! Also when doing a check it says everything is ok but it's not cause my phone or iPad aren't loading for anything

When there are issues between midnight and 7am it's quite possibly going to be essential overnight maintenance taking place which is carried out then to minimise disruption as most customers are asleep. Hopefully it'll be back before 7.

If it isn't and you haven’t done it yet you can use this link to check to see if there are any broadband issues or outages nearby.
https://www.sky.com/servicechecker
This should determine if there's an identified fault, perhaps affecting multiple households.
Note: It doesn’t necessarily disclose a problem immediately and it takes a little while to update so perhaps retry later.

If there aren't any then try running the line test here
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start
You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

Once completed, if it reports back that all is okay click on 'broadband' to run an updated test. If you get amber or red you need to follow the on-screen instructions.

If you’re still having problems you may need to contact Sky to report it. The easiest way is to dial 150 free from your Sky Talk landline if it’s still working.

This link providers information about the coloured lights on the various hubs

Working from home?: Sky broadband being discussed here is a domestic service and whilst it's fine for those customers working from home to use it, they won’t receive additional or quicker support.

Re: WiFi not working

@Ka53 There are 4 lights on the sky broadband hub.

1. power that is always Green.

2. internet that is going out so no light showing.

3. wifi that is always Green just like the power light.

4. voice that goes to an Amber light.

You can also see the about lights below!

Re: WiFi not working

@Ka53 Got your sequence now, very surprised at the wifi light going off, have never ever seen that, but aside, are you connected on a Full Fibre connection or on a OR Master Socket telephone line!
