Broadband not connecting PR4 area

I am in the PR4 area and my Internet dropped out at 1am last night. I had a look online and sky arranged planned maintenance last night with services meant to be back by 6am. I can't get through to them. It's not great when I'm working from home!!

WiFi not working in Northampton either.

all test state router is all ok but 10 resets later and still nothing!

everying was working ok until about 9:30 last night then all WiFi devices dropped out and not been able to reconnect yet

I tried to use the chatbot and this is the answer I got.

"There's an outage in your area that's affecting your service. 

Start date: 10/04/2024 3am

We're already aware of it and are working hard to get your service back up and running as soon as possible"

Rang sky at 8am. They said it could take anywhere from 2 hours to 2 DAYS!!! Seriously? Sort it out sky. It's a joke.

Sky have said that it's an Openreach issue, and to tell you the truth 99% of the issues I have had over the years, has been down to them 😒 they are allowed up 2 days to fix things then compensation kicks in😡

PR4 isnt in Bury!! And why does your customer service team insist on blaming Openreach. My neighbour is on BT and has full service. Take responsibility for your own mess!

Its definitely not an Openreach issue - Thats what they told me as well - They are lying.

Most of services resumed Chorley area but no network connection through the tv!
