WiFi issues
I have had fiber fitted a week ago. I have sky hub 4.2. I've been with sky for years with no issues. Before the fiber was fitted I started having connection issues, knocking me out of teams meetings, not or struggling to open Netflix and slow starting a film.
I had fiber fitted and told the connection would improve but it hasn't, if anything it's worse. Films won't play or takes ages to start, it's mainly upstairs. I've upgraded to full fiber 300 but no better. It says my connections are good when I test the broadband except the device that says Shanghai mxchip information technology which says poor. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: WiFi issues
@Je15 you can have thecfastest broadband connection and still have issues on devices connected by a dodgy WiFi link. Often things getvworse when fullmfibre is installed as the hub is moved. If it is possible you can buy a longer Ethernet cable and use that to move the hub to a better position than the short cable Sky provided for tge switch. You dont need anything special and such cables can be bought in superrmsrkets etc The best position is out in tge ipen off the floor on a surface away from other electronic devices.
If thst doesnt improve things consider either buying Sky's WiFi Max bundle where for a monthly charge Sky will provide up to 3 exteners ensuring a minimum of 25Mb/s in every room in your home. Alternatively you can buy out right your own shole home WiFi solution with multiple satellite unis and use that. If working from home these can beca useful investmennt. Speed is not thst important as much more than 100Mb/s does not improvecday to day usage.
