WiFi issues

Since the engineer came out I have had issues with things on WiFi, WhatsApp doesn't work properly on my phone and the ring doorbell has stopped letting us know people are at the door 

we have checked all of our settings etc but it seems it's the WiFi? I don't think the WiFi we pay for is as good as it is supposed to be and it's been since a 2 weeks ago when the whole broadband stopped working

@caesarome Also what was the reason for the Engineer visit?
