WiFi is too slow

Hiya is there anything I can do with the broadband before I cancel it the box was put in down stairs and it's used for my sons ps5 online up in hes room and it's just too slow and when I connect my telly upstairs like Netflix it's slow too is there anything ye can do before I move providers thanks
