Re: WiFi hub slowly flashing green
It's potentially another cyber attack. Looking on resource like downdetector it would seem all the mainstream internet and media suppliers are having issues
•BT down
•sky down
•KCOM down
•EE experiencing issues
•plusnet experiencing issues
•TalkaTalk experiencing issues
•Vodafone experiencing issues
•three experiencing issues
•IDnet experiencing issues.
Other sites such as the coop bank, Disney plus, curry's are also having problems

Re: WiFi hub slowly flashing green
@Jack331 incredibly unlikely it was a "national cyber attack" far more likely is a localised outsge caused by Openreach doing essential overnight maintenance in your area. This happens to different lines virtually every night and of course affects any isp whose customers are on that connection.
A national outsge even a brief one would be headline news. Sky rarely post in the forum but where there is known major issue the status page is updated. No isp can guarantee 24/7 connectivity

Re: WiFi hub slowly flashing green
At about 0100 this morning DownDetector reports 206 people saying they have an issue. As Sky broadband has millions of customers that's a very small number and unsurprisingly is at the time that Openreach commence any essential overnight maintenance.
If it was a cyber attack the forum would have been overrun with reports to the point of crashing.

Re: WiFi hub slowly flashing green
@Jack331 sorry boaringly we see similar posts most mornings which either mean there is a cyber attack most nights which the authorities are hushing up or to my mind more likely an Openreach engineer took some kit down to do some work.
