WiFi drops out regularly

Since our move the sky stream we have had shocking Internet. Minimum speed check i don't think so. Daily it drops out every hour. Have not been able to watch a programme on tv tonight without it dropping out. Reset the box multiple times over the last few weeks. Sat next to the box to work in the week and connection kept dropping out. Not sure what else to do. Feel like we have been conned as never had an issue with virgin

@Joe128 Sky Stream needs a stable and sufficently fast connection given that you should have no problems. Most people whomreport issues like yours have a poor WiFi connection at the puck. You can test thecspeed the puck is receiving by running the network test in the Get Help menu innthe Netflix app. To watch in UHD you need at least 25Mb/s but that is only half the story as stability is as important if thecsignal is affected by interference you will get issues especially on Sports broadcasts.

First thing ie ensure both the hub and the puck are out innthe open not behind or under other kit. WiFi signals are blocked by metal so pkacing the puck behind a TV is not a goid idea and having both higher tgan radiators definitely helps.

If still stuck then considef if you could run an ethernet lead from your hub to the puck which isxalways the preferred solution. Beyond that it is down to getting extra WiFi kit either by paying Sky forcan add-on lije WiFi Max or buying your own as so many peopke do including myself.
