WiFi doesn't reach

My WiFi doesn't seem to reach all areas of my house. Which is ironic because it's a tiny 1 bedroom terraced house... I'm not sure why that is but when I'm in a room closer to the box, no issues. 

How can I get my connection to reach me when I'm not sat in the next room to the router please?
