WiFi connection

Why is it if I have my own WiFi connection it keeps switching to my neighbours connection who also has sky. In the hot weather a couple of weeks ago I could not get on line at all. When speak8ng to sky they said I needed a new hub which wad sent is connected however it is still switching me to my neighbours WiFi.

@janet.wilkinson your devices will connect to the strongest WiFi signal not knowing the position of your own hub and the layout of your property it is quite possible thst in some areas your neighbour's WiFi signal is stronger. You can stop your devices switching by simply deleting your neighbour's network log into details from your devices. It is unwise to share you WiFi details as you are removing one layer of security protection.

If your Sky hub is not providing usabke WiFi in every room you need an extender which Sky will provide if you buy their WiFi Max bundle see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max
