WiFi connection dropping out constantly

Our WiFi connection keeps dropping for a few minutes then coming back. Speed is decent enough when we have it but drops out a few times a day. 
This has got worse since the cable to our property was repaired by Openreach, it should have been replaced but has not been. 
this is causing massive problems as I work from home and do not have a reliable internet connection.
