@53runnymede sounds like you need to improve wifi coverage in your home try these tips Sky Help - Slow wifi

If they dont work you msy need to consider buying third party kit to get better coversge. A booster from Sky might work but you can only get one of those if you buy the Broadbsnd Boist bundle or the new Sky Wifi Max bundle.
