Hi, I'm having a problem with WiFi-calling from my iPhone 15 pro (latest update 18.2) using an iDmobile SIM that has WiFi calling enabled, over Sky Fullfibre (white hub).
It all worked perfectly before Christmas, (the mobile phone signal around my home is nearly non existent) but now I can't receive calls over the WiFi or ring out even after getting a replacement SIM for some reason.
I can't ring out to get help from Sky or iDmobile and I'm tied to trying virtual chatbots in the Sky and iD apps, which don't recognise my problem (because it's not in their list of options to answer). I'm going around in circles 😵

Thanks for the reply James, I got that from Google earlier today, so it's true what my Grandad used to say, shake more trees and you get a quicker response 😉

WiFi calling
Hi, should my unlocked iPhone 15 pro be able use WiFi calling over Sky full fibre using an iDmobile SIM (3network) which has WiFi calling as part of it's package. I'm adding because before Christmas it worked perfectly but now it doesn't work at all 🤔
TIA

Re: WiFi-calling stopped working
Posting twice wont get your question answered any quicker.
There has been various reports of WiFi calling issues on iOS devices running iOS 18.2 not just people who use Sky Broadband. Some of the posts suggest changing your routers security settings in the app to WPA2 rather than WPA3 will solve the issue.

Re: WiFi-calling stopped working
How do you change or turn off WiFi in the SKY app? I can't find any way to do it.
Would be really grateful as I am on the point of cancelling my subscription.

Re: WiFi-calling stopped working
JimmyJack. Thank you very much. I have turned the WiFi off and will now assess the result. hopefully WiFi calling through our DECO P9 will be re-instated and stable.
Once again Thanks

Re: WiFi-calling stopped working
It is frustrating to see that the replies in this discussion seem to focus on finding workarounds or possible issues with individual devices and mobile operators, rather than encouraging Sky to properly investigate the underlying problem.
This discussion started in January 2025, and yet the same Wi-Fi Calling issue is still present today, in September 2026. In my case, the problem is also clearly reproducible: Wi-Fi Calling can stop working even though the Wi-Fi connection itself remains stable and fully functional.
At this point, after more than a year and a half of reports, it should no longer be treated as an isolated iOS, device or mobile operator issue. The fact that similar problems continue to be reported by Sky Broadband customers makes it reasonable to investigate whether there is an underlying issue with Sky’s router or network configuration.
I think Sky Support should take these reports seriously and investigate the problem at network level instead of continuing to suggest individual workarounds. The fact that the issue can still be reproduced today suggests that whatever is causing it has not actually been resolved.
