WiFi calling intermittent

Hi

Me and my partner have been having intermittent issues on our phones where we can't call out or take calls when using wifi calling.

We live in a low signal area so this is our only option to call in an emergency. 
When I do the wifi test it always says the connection is fine, but we still can't make calls. This issue happens if we're next to the wifi box or at the other end of the house. 
Has anyone encountered similar issues and managed to resolve it?

Does your Broadband/WiFi generally perform okay other than this? 

Who is your mobile service provider?

Yes generally performs well apart from phone calls and this happens all over the house not just away from the router. And I'm with Sky 70mb I believe.
