WiFi blackspot

Hi

We changed to sky broadband last week and one the whole qe are happy.

We have a long thin detached house, with two floors and our router is plugged into the open reach socket on the ground floor at one end of the house.

On the top floor at the other end of the house is my teenage sons room where he is getting less than 20 Mbps, and obviously has playstation etc. this is causing much stress!

Everywhere else in the house gets good speed.

We rang sky who sent us a booster pod but no matter where we put it in the house it makes no difference to the WiFi in his room .

Does anyone have any suggestions as at the moment we are thinking of using our 30.day change out mind and go back to EE
