WiFi access and puck - log cabin
Currently have a mini box in log cabin that provides WiFi and is connected to Ethernet cat 6 cable running to broadband router.
Due to future end of Sky Q and increased subs - would the following work.....purchase a WiFi access point and connect to Ethernet cable to provide the same coverage as the mini box would to enable mobile and laptop use?
Have fibre - so was also thinking about Glass v2 Tv and pucks.
if I was to fit a puck to the tv in the cabin, would this work ok when connecting to the WiFi network?

Re: WiFi access and puck - log cabin
@Rgk96 yes installing a third party WiFi access point in the cabin should wirk to give WiFi access but if yiu want to use a Stream puck while thst could be connected to the access point it would be better to use an Ethernet connection. Many access points have 2 Ethernet ports so that could be a neat solution.

Re: WiFi access and puck - log cabin
@Rgk96 as it happens I have a set of 3 of the same Deco units providing WiFi in my house and they work well. They are easy to configure in access point mode which is recommended see https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1842/
