WiFi Speed Dreadful, Sometimes doesn't work at all

Sky Gigafast customer, meant to be getting "super fast" internet to all devices, but I am getting speed and reliability comparable to early 2000's dial up internet. I have called countless times about this, even had to put in a booster to help the router in a two bedroom flat.... Yes, seriously. Been a customer for 14 years, and the customer service team have shown no real care for that loyalty. I didn't have any of these issues with BT, and you are about to lose said loyal customer. Please just get it sorted!!!

@RobertCorcoran No matter what, speed test at the hub, what do you get! Wireless or (wired would be better) what hub do you have from sky?

@RobertCorcoran oddly small flats can be really difficult to network using WiFi due to the number of your neighbours' networks within range. Install an app called WiFi Analyzer onto an Android phone or a laptop running windows as that will show all of the networks within range with their signal strength and channel. A signal on the same or adjacent channel will cause interference if strong enough reducing through put and packet loss. The app can help, find the least congested channel to use which you can set up manually on the older black Sky hubs, the newer white hubs should find that automatically but a reboot can help. The newer white hubs use higher 5GHz channels which are less congested but have shorter range and if your block has concrete walls may not be much help, beyond the room the hub is in..

For gaming or for streaming video consider using ethernet as that is immune from interference powerline networking adapters can also help as these use the flat's mains cabelling.
