WiFi Signal

I have two issues with my broadband. One is that quite often I have to come off WiFi on my phone in order to access the internet or my emails. On a few occasions I've checked my broadband and there has been issues.

 

The other issue is that the broadband doesn't cover my cottage. It only covers the living room, where it is and then the kitchen and one bedroom. It doesn't cover the other two bedrooms in the cottage. I need something to boost it in order that my oldest son can play his PS5 in his room.

The email issue is likely Sky Broadband Shield, iCloud relay or Private browsing. Try disabling all these.

 

As for the WiFi coverage, if you have Sky Boost or Sky WiFi Max then Sky will provide you with boosters to cover the rest of your home. I would note though that using boosters for gaming devices is not recommended and online play may be troublesome.
