WiFi Dropping

All the tests on Sky show everything is working ok, but it isn't. Trying to get by the robots to talk with someone seems impossible! All my devices drop from the internet as the wifi fluctuates from one bar to two bars, sspeed tests all show low except on sky.WIFI.jpeg

@Benboy1960   First thing to check is this link to see if there are any outages in your area:

https://www.sky.com/servicechecker

If there isn't try running the line test here:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: WiFi Dropping

My wifi keeps dropping out, I can't use my laptop without plugging in an ethernet cable. I also have the mini box constantly freezing and a couple of times ive had to turn off and on the hub and q box to get it to reconnect to the network. It's been like this for over 2 weeks now. I have done all the sky tests, turn off and unplug you name I've done it. I need to talk to someone now.

@Benboy1960

A poor signal in certain rooms is something that can cause this so try going through this to see if it helps:

https://www.sky.com/help/broadband/my-broadband-speed/improving-wi-fi-signal-to-my-devices/articles/...

If not and if you have Wi-Fi Max on your account then Sky will loan up to 3 pods as you can read about here:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max

So you can either call them on 150 from a landline phone or a mobile that has a Sky sim in it or Select "No, I still need help" at the bottom on the above link.
