My WiFi connection keeps dropping, been regularly doing it for the last couple of weeks. Twice today in the last couple of hours. Both times today I've had to restart the router and after a few minutes it comes back on.
whenever I do broadband test via the app it finds no faults and tells me everything is good, which it isn't!
any idea what's going on here?!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@NickCarpo Can you run the latter part of the directions if it is showing good on your service check please to see if it finds the fault.
Can you please run the service checker, this can be done either via the Sky app on mobile data or use the link below.

If it finds an external fault it should enable you to book an engineer.
After the service checker completes and if it comes back green all good can you click on broadband to run an updated test please. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

Hi @Highlinder
thanks for your help so far.
ive run the service checker again and both the broadband and WiFi are coming back green. This isn't unusual - whenever the connection drops if I run the service checker the it always finds no issue.
I should add that usually when the connection drops I don't usually have to reboot the router - after a few mins it normally comes back on its own. Only today I've rebooted the router a couple of times as it's been particularly bad and hasn't reconnected as usual.
im starting to think it's the router that's faulty - it's an ER110 and I thinks it's a few years old now. Sometimes even just moving it causes it to lose WiFi...

@Highlinder new router on the way 🙂
Turns out the one I have is 7 years old and the technician could see the connection has been very unstable over the past few weeks, so he's sending a replacement.
thanks again for your help!

I'm getting exactly the same lately. Everything drops. Really annoying when we have glass and the pucks. I run the checks and low and behold it says there's not a problem when I can clearly see there's no service going into the router as the lights are all off.
how do you get into the router to check the stats?
cheers,
Matt.
