@Carol_1 your post is not very clear do you mean in speed tests on devices connected by WiFi you are seeing speeds of 9.6Mb/s but are expecting higher speeds? This is a very common issue.
The speed a WiFi link can deliver is primarily determined by the distance the device is from the hub and what lies between. Therefore the layout of your home and how it is built is important. A few years sgo spedd around 9.6Mb/s were ample but these days we want to stream video, work from home etc so need higher speeds but the laws of physics have not changed. In many homes therefore you need additional wifi sources either as part of Sky's WiFi Max package or by buying your own equipment.
