Wi fi v ethernet

i swithed from Virgin to Sky for broadband last year.. With  Virgin I had an ethernet connection but with sky it is Wifi. The wifi is stuggling a bit. Will Sky install an ethernet cable to the upstairs and back of the house like Virgin did. If so who to I contact at SKY?

@MickBowden  No thats not something Sky will do, if you already have an ethernet connection installed by Virgin Media why don't you use that.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@MickBowden

If it's actually ethernet then as @GD1 indicates it should be usable as it is.

However I believe Virgin historically installed coaxial cable internally, as they did on their external network.

Coaxial cable can potentially be used for ethernet transit but only by purchasing  MoCA (Multimedia over Coax Alliance) adaptors.

@MickBowden  You could possibly look for a local contractor to carry out the ethernet extension. In my case I actually did the work myself by laying This along three rooms , although admittedly i didn't have an upstairs to contend with.
