I have been checking my wi fi and found it's much better when my neighbour isn't at home.
When he is there his broadband width is twice the width of mine.
Mine is between four and eight on the speed test checker,if that makes sense.
My neighbours is 3 to 12 when he at home.
I am pretty new to this so any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
My question is ,is my neighbour doing anything to stop my Wi Fi Or should I be doing sonething to get a better broadband width as he has?
All the other broadband users in my immediate area have no better broadband usage than I do.

Almost certainly not intentionally, but wireless spectrum is limited and adjacent signal sources may well be talking over each other.

Not entirely clear what you are referring to there: frequency bands?
What wireless speeds are you seeing?
