Wi-Fi Speed

I have full fibre gigafast broadband and should get a minimum speed of 600mb. Next to the router I get 450mb. In the lounge I get 250mb which is next to the sky max pro booster and in the bedroom I get 135mb. Why do I not get the WiFi  speed I should have on the sky contract.

Re: Wi-Fi Speed

@Rob0704 Wireless wi-fi always has a speed reduction, closest to the hub within 6' is the fastest and the device determines what that speed will be, then the further you get away the slower it get's. If you Ethernet connect to the hub, have a device that can max out the speed then that is the way to test what your max is going to be. FF500 myself so both wired and wireless max out everywhere with a slight reduction on wireless anywhere from 400-500Mb/s and also depending on how busy the External network is at the time.

All about the speeds explained from the sky help.
