Wi-Fi Max - Dynamic DNS

I'm not currently a Sky customer but am looking to sign up for Wi-Fi Max .

My concern is that I need to set use Dynamic DNS to access my Home Assistant setup remotely. Currently I can do that with DYNDNS in my BT Router but can I do the same on the Wi-Fi Max router?

any help appreciated!

Hi @Neil_knows_nowt

Dynamic DNS is available on the Sky hub however it only offers the following providers;

- noip.com

- DynDNS.org

- dyns.cx

Also note the Dynamic DNS feature on the Sky hub can be flakey and is known to not accept complex passwords which may be a security concern for some so if Dynamic DNS is something you require at router level I would say you either need to consider a different ISP or use a 3rd party router with Sky.

@Krishnendu as far as I can see there is no facility for dynamic DNS on the white Sky hub 6 (model SR213)
