Wi-Fi Issues
my WiFi speeds are showing as good when checked via the Sky app & independent apps. However, in reality the service is really bad. My children can no longer access WiFi in their rooms. This was previously not an issue. I am having to use mobile data to send photos via Whats App in the house. This was also previously not an issue. The Sky Q drops out, also previously not an issue. No longer able to access WiFi in the Kitchen, bathroom, garden. I think that paints a pretty clear picture. Since I upgraded to Skys fastest broadband package, the use ability has declined significantly. I am not getting what I am paying for, which is now circa £140 per month. Not on Sky!!! I need a resolution as soon as possible!!! Wi-Fi is expected to be useable. I am at my wits end!!!

Re: Wi-Fi Issues
@CC76 You have got this all out now, so the serious part which none off what you posted helps. Have you upgraded to the FF service, you have taken the Sky Max (White) router and possibly have the subscription package... The original position off the old hub has it moved now to accomidate the new installation if that was so. The details are all needed, if you would like advice from the Forum.
If you do not then call to Sky for them to deal with it all.

Re: Wi-Fi Issues
OK, so upgraded to FF (white hub) fastest available, hub is in the same place as the previous router which was black. Never had any boosters but the WiFi was great all over the house & garden. No other changes.

Re: Wi-Fi Issues
@CC76 Cannot say how good or bad the Sky Max hub is as have never used, but if you do have the Max subscription then booster's are probably the only way for you to go. Information is all linked below.

Re: Wi-Fi Issues
Contacted Sky, got a booster sent out, seems to have improved the WiFi initially. We have to see over time if this works for us long term.

Re: Wi-Fi Issues
@CC76 That is all you can do, and if needed move it about to get the best and desired location for it.👍
