Wi Fi Booster
Our previous internet provider's router was good enough to allow us to connect to our WiFi when we were on our patio, so no more than 4 metres from the property.
Unfortunately, our Sky router clearly isn't as good, as we get no signal there now. I don't want to subscribe to Sky Max (extra cost), I already pay Sky a fortune for TV, phone & broadband, so can non-Sky boosters be bought that'll work with the Sky router ?
Thanks.

Re: Wi Fi Booster
I had this problem as like you I got excellent WIFI from my previous Broadband suppliers router. I have the Sky max router which costs me £4 a month extra and the Sky salesperson said that it would give me a excellent wifi all over my small house.
Well it didnt even match the Sky router that I had 2 or 3 years ago that was a 80mb fttc connection. I now have the 330mb conection with wifi max at extra cost.
So I tried everything reccomended online and still no good. Got through to a human eventually on the phone and she sent me out a wifi pod to plug in which sorted the problem but Its very inconvenient to have to use up a extra power socket just because Sky cant provide a decent router like my previous supplier. The WIFI pod actually takes up 3 power sockets because of its large size which is very annoying.
