Why is there a charge for fibre optics installation?

Am I the only person who thinks trying to charge me £10 to have a fibre connection is a scam.  When I complained the sky person said, the cost is £100 but were waiving £90.  I'm thinking of going elsewhere but thinking probably all service providers are the same.

If you don't want to pay a nominal £10, then yes, try elsewhere.

@Disgruntled- what are you expecting?  If you were being charged the full £100 you'd have more reason to complain. But£10?

@Disgruntled- Sounds like you have just a delivery charge for a new sky Hub to be sent to you, no idea but just a thought, you will have the knowledge of the conversation!
