Why does my broadband wifi connection drop out repeatedly between 2300-0100hrs, only.

Wi fi connection repeatedly lost as above. Always back the next morning, so no problem my end. Is this Sky maintenance or something that weakens the signal to my box when they figure no-ones using it?

@zzzzzzzzz A drop out overnight 2 or 3 times a month for an hour or two is nothing out of the ordinary, in fact normal. The small hours is usually when the Line management makes any alterations it sees fit, or if there is any maintenance being undertaken it's usually done overnight where possible to inconvenience the least amount of people.

@zzzzzzzzz

How long has this been happening for? Often overnight maintenance can happen for a week or so at a time.

It happens approx 3 times per month. Lose connection late hours, always back in the morning.  Been doing it for a few years that I can remember.

Sounds like Openreach or Sky maintenance to me and certainly not often enough for a fault. Your broadband service is not a 100% uptime system.

Thank you. Its what I suspected but didn't know. Your comments re-inforce that.
