PopTelecom, Pulse8 and Vispa are some of the ones I've seen.
They all look to be ISPs running off the Openreach network which would put you in the same position. I suspect their system just doesnt check current availability

You are probably correct. I forget which one was which, but it was the 59mbps one.

Ah, yeah I figured as much but still held out a slight bit of hope. I won't be fully moved in for another 6 weeks so won't bother arranging anything just yet on the off-chance a space opens up but otherwise it looks like it'll be Three or EE on a rolling contract for now. I'd suppose those sort of 4G speeds would cover someone living on their own anyway, just hope it provides enough to make gaming possible too.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf you already have them for your mobile connection you could run a speedtest in/near the new place on your phone and see what kind of ping you get as thats the crucial part for gaming.

Ah, good call. Does a speed test on a mobile provide an accurate reflection for what speeds most devices would get then?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreWell yeah if your Three or EE for your mobile then running a speedtest on it would show you the same ping & speeds that a 4G router would pick up
