White sky max router

No Internet. Why? Because sky help is no help. Sky app functions aren't available. Ie, to switch on WiFi, go to Disable WiFi, but when you get there, there are no options. Not even 3g, 5g. So now I have a white router stuck in factory reset mode for the past 12 hrs. Dint bother ringing sky out of hours, they've all gone home. Since when has a major service had no 24hr human cover.

What exactly were you trying to do?

 

Have you tried plugging in a ethernet cable into the back and connecting with a computer.

192.168.0.1 into your web browser.

Login name = admin

Password = WiFi password on the card in the box.

@Gduke11 24 hour support is very expensive for minimal use, costs that get passed onto the customer and is often pretty useless as it is usually supplied by overseas call centre;s who can do little other than pass the issue back to UK staff to handle in the morning.

 

Sky's lines open from 7am and close by 10pm. If the My Sky app is not showing the section for the hub after signing out, closing tge app and then restarting then you will need Sky's help. The hub should be fully functional though in its factory default settings but I agree its inconvenient if you want to change the SSID.
