Evening all.
I been looking through the previous posts regarding routers and am looking to replace the sky sr203 with an Asus rt ax58u but I've noticed they do a gaming router called the Asus tuf ax3000 and looking at the specs they look identical,
So my first question is, does the ax3000 work with sky broadband or should I just stick with the rt ax58u which has been proven to work.
My second question comes to latancy I posted a couple of weeks ago regarding this but with all family away at the inlaws and I'm stuck this Xmas at work, my broadband connection still looks like this,⬇️ the only device connected is the sky q everything else has been unplugged (eithernet) and WiFi switched off, plus I've noticed that my data usage has now quadrupled from an average of 2tb per month to well over 8tb.
Thanks for any info
Ross

Not too sure on the asus tuf series best call asus uk and enquire does it support sky mer/dhcp option 61. I don't see why not all asus rt ax routers support it including
Asus rt ax82u
Asus rt ax86u which both are gaming routers as well
Also the netgear nighthawk xr1000 (ax5400) using dumaOS 3 should work as well
