Re: Which mesh plugs work with sky hub max
No idea what you mean by mesh plugs. A mesh network is a network comprised of a main router then satellite nodes. The 'plug' you seem to be referring to would be classed as a plug in extender, these are often rubbish and dont play nice with many routers.

Re: Which mesh plugs work with sky hub max
Sky pod works via mesh with sky hub max
you just cant buy them and if you subscribe to guarantee sky wont give unless connection is below certain mb
so the question is what is an alternative to sky pod something that works the same way
It is appalling that sky provide low quality routers that don't have a good WiFi range. And what's worse is if you have telephone with fttp then sky doesn't allow that function to work with other routers. Makes if feel very unfair practice

Re: Which mesh plugs work with sky hub max
If you're asking what will integrate with the the Sky SR213 in the same way as the Pods, the answer is none, as it's a propreitary system. Also the plug in type that Sky provide is a terrible design, as the last thing you want is the signal being low down & possibly behind furniture. But any mesh system will connect to the router in access point mode, creating a separate WiFi network.
So like any purchase, check some reviews & balance your needs with your budget.
If you've previously had adequate coverage with another ISP's router, you could maybe look at acquiring the previous SR203 black router. That still supports the phone service but seems to have a more typical range than the awful SR213. But Sky won't supply one so you'll need to look to Ebay, etc.

Hi. I've just gone back to Sky B/B
and I've been using the Tenda Nova mesh
and they work great together.
