Hi all,
I've been browsing the community to try and find an answer, but I'm a novice so some of it is going over my head.
I'm looking to buy a 3rd party router that can replace the standard sky one that came with the broadband. Can anyone let me know which ones will work?
I have the sky broadband Ultrafast Plus, which is FTTP.
If any more info is needed, please let me know and I can provide! Thanks.

Fttp means that from the Ethernet that runs to your current sky router can be plugged into any 3rd party router it also depends on your needs if it's a big house mesh Wi-Fi system is the way to go something like google mesh Wi-Fi if your house isn't massive and you don't struggle to get signal in every room I'd advise something made by NETGEAR or asus if you have a lot of new devices go with something with Wi-Fi 6 built in will offer you the best speeds over Wi-Fi but is a bit more expensive

Thanks for the response. Are there any guides or information to set it up? I had a TP-Link Archer C80 from when I was with BT before. When I first switched over I tried to use it and couldn't get it to work.
Are there any models you'd suggest that would work without dropping WiFi speeds too much? It's a relatively small house but also not working with a tight budget

Thanks, and any of these should work with Sky specifically?

Should all be plug and play

To replace the sky hub completely we find all asus rt ax and asus zenwifi routers work with sky directly connected to the ont . Tp links may work with a little tinkering but not always guaranteed
