Re: When will wifi be working again?
No internet at that time of night could be maintenance taking place which is carried out overnight to minimise disruption when the vast majority of customers are asleep. If it's not back later today it could be a fault or outage.

You didn't say it had not worked for three days. I'm just a customer like you so have no idea. Have you asked Sky for an update?

Re: When will wifi be working again?
Yet another outage!!! I'm trying to run a business and yet again I can't!!!
this is getting ridiculous- my husband works from home, he's suppose to start at 830 - if he doesn't work he doesn't get paid!!!
When will this be sorted????

@Anonymous
Sky Broadband is a domestic service. If you rely on broadband for your business interests you should perhaps consider a business broadband subscription which will cost considerably more.

Re: When will wifi be working again?
@Aaiz @Anonymous & @Magutko there are a large number of people with faults which are mainly ccaused by the recent freak weather. It is unfortunate but it is usuually beyond Sky's direct control as most of the faults are in the Openreach distribution network and their engineers are stretched sorting them..
It is usually impossible to get an accurate estimate of when your line will be back up. Faults take time to disgnose, locate and fix. In some cases there is damage to infrastructure such as land slips in others it is damage by a third party eg a digger operator breaking a main feed or these days some low life straling a few hundred meters of cable. These major faults are not sorted quickly in the past some faults have taken months to repair but that is rare.
Customers will be compensated once the service is restored for loss of service greater than 2 working days. It makes no difference if you pay for a business line except the compensation is calculated on a different SLA as major faults take the sametime to fix. See
