When will outage be fixed?

It's now 17hrs without broadband and no way of knowing when it will be fixed, we need it to help provide internet access to regulate our disabled child, things are unraveling fast.

The engineers will be very busy due to the storm that pasted over the UK this weekend so it will be fixed as soon as it can be by the people from Openreach so whilst must be annoying and frustrating there is nothing you can do to find out how long this will take.

Typically backbone cabling and area outages are addressed first, then individual circuit failures.  Normally Openreach doesn't do domestic broadband support over weekends at all.
