When is Fibre Optic setup not Fibre Optic Set up.....

Moved house on 9 May. Earliest to get broadband installed was today, 3 June. All going great, until the engineer now states it can't be connected outside and our driveway needs to be dug up.

I'd like to understand on what basis Sky thought broadband was available in our area. I have been advised by the engineer that it will be 7-10 day or longer. All the whilse Sky keep calling me asking why I have got rid of all their other services (TV, mobile etc).

I work from home (as does my wife) and this has become a joke, plus we have 3 children who also require internet access for school home work.

I cannot explain how irritated and infuriating this is. I would kindly request that someone, anyone from Sky respond, and rather than trying to sell me upgrades and sh*t I dont want, try and actually solve the issues at hand.
